My personal goal for our dream kitchen was a modern sleek open design kitchen with the stunning palette of white/grey/silver. Due to Ana’s expertise in kitchen planning and interior decorating I received this and more. The layout was well thought out and perfected in print and computerized plan which translated into the perfect functional and beautiful kitchen we have the pleasure to experience today. The kitchen is the main attraction in our open concept main area overlooking our dining and living areas. With Ana’s personal touch, the variety of surfaces and textures from the white thermo foil cabinets and contrasting silver thermo foil island cabinetry, the two choices of countertops to the combination of tile used in the backsplash is very visually appealing. From my standpoint working as a visual artist, visual appeal is of utmost importance to me and this has been achieved through a variety of textures and highlighted design features designed to attract the eye. The whole family loves this space and the highlight of our day is to cook together in our kitchen with its spacious layout and ultimate functionality."

As hard as I tried, I just couldn’t make my living and dining room work. So, rather than making costly mistakes, I left the decorating decisions to Ana.
We are so pleased with how our new rooms turned out!
Not only is Ana a pleasure to work with, but it took her no time at all to tune into my modern/contemporary style. Her choice of wall colors and carpeting, the fabulous 3-toned custom drapery and cushions really helped to unify the two rooms. And her keen eye for detail helped her choose just the right ‘funky’ accessories.
Ana also turned our tired powder room into the prettiest room in the house. The stunning glass vessel sink, tall faucet and marble countertop transformed a boring room into a little jewel.

"My husband and I were starting to renovate our 100 year old, rural home but were unsure where to begin! So we thought that we would attend the Ottawa Home Show and seek out some professional advice and obtain some ideas. We came to a beautifully decorated booth attended by Ana Gomes who was introducing her interior design company, Personal Touch Interiors. She graciously answered our inquiries and offered us some suggestions. She then asked us to consider an in-home consult, to which we agreed. Ana sent out a questionaire to help her gauge our wants, needs and style. She also listened to us as we discussed renovating our home in phases, over time. With her guidance, design and floor plan we started on our Phase 1 - the front foyer, hall and main floor bathroom. We so appreciated her help with not only the function of the spaces, but also the furniture layout, flooring, lighting, paint colours and fabrics for these rooms. Ana used emails and photo attachments to show us decor elements and shopping finds. I even accompanied her on a couple of shopping excursions, looking for furniture and accessories. Ana is an accomplished seamstress, thus able to design and sew our unique and gorgeous draperies, shower valance and curtains as well as chair cushions. She also designed our bathroom cabinetry, subsequently built and installed by Corel Custom Cabinetry of Mallorytown. We are receiving rave reviews from our guests when they tour our home and use these rooms. We could not be more pleased with how these rooms have come together! My husband and I are continuing with our home renos, in phases and continue to enlist Ana’s expert assistance. We trust her creative eye and design ideas. She is a treasure to know."

In our planning stages, she spent a lot of time with us providing us with great suggestions from a design perspective. Ana is very knowledgeable about custom window treatments.
